Tour Sacred Valley of the Incas

ITINERARY

This tour begins at approximately 8.15 am., we go by your hotel in order to have a guided visit to the Sacred Valley of the Inkas, over the Vilcanota River to have a panoramic view of the Inka citadel of Pisac and to visit the typical Indian market of Pisac, where we will have the chance to learn about the customs of their citizens and to bargain prices with the sellers, then we go to the City of Urubamba, traveling on the shores of the Vilcanota River.

Lunch at a local restaurant in the Sacred Valley of The Inkas. In the afternoon we will visit the Archaeological Park of Ollantaytambo, built to watch the entrance to this part of the Valley and to protect it from invasions of people from the jungle. We will have the chance to walk through the streets of the town and in that way to have a clear idea on how was this military, religious and cultural center during the Inka Empire. In the return way to Cusco we will visit the colorful little town of Chinchero where they are found the remains of the royal farm that belonged to Tupac Inka Yupanqui. You will admire its well preserved Inka Wall on the main square and you will visit the beautiful colonial temple with interesting frescoes at the portico, built over the base of an Inka construction. Transfer to hotel chosen in Cusco to stay overnight.
