Hike to Inca Trail Salkantay 5 days
Day 1 (Cusco – Mollepata – Soraypampa)

Trek itinerary:

  • 04:30 a.m. Transfer: Hotel bus station.
  • 05.00 hrs. Partida Cusco Mollepata.
  • 08:10 a.m. (Approx.) Arrival.
  • 08:30 a.m. breakfast.
  • 09.00 hrs. Hike: Mollepata Sayllapata. (approx. 04 hours).
  • 12:00 p.m. Lunch in Sayllapata.
  • 1:00 p.m. Sayllapata Soraypampa hike. approx. 03 hours.
  • 5:00 p.m. Camp.
  • 7:00 p.m. dinner.

  • 11:45 a.m. Hike to the Machupicchu Hydroelectric Power Station (train station) for 1.5 hours.

  • 3:45 p.m. Departure by train (local) heading to Machupicchu (Aguas Calientes).
  • 4:45 p.m. Accommodation in a hostel with private bathroom and hot water.
  • 7:00 p.m. dinner.

Hike to Salkantay Inca Trail 5 days
Day 5 (Hot Waters – Machu Picchu – Cusco)

Trek itinerary:

  • 05.00 hrs. breakfast.
  • 06.00 hrs. Ascent to Machu Picchu.
  • 07.00 hrs. Guided tour of Machu Picchu (ruins) for 02 hours with official guide. Then, free time in the ruins. It is recommended to go up to the Waynapicchu hill, visit the Temple of the Moon, the Inca Bridge and/or the Intipunko.
  • 6:45 p.m. Return by train: Aguas Calientes – Ollantaytambo. Transfer by bus Ollantaytambo – Cusco.
  • 9:00 p.m. (Approx.) Arrival in Cusco.
