Description
On the way to the island of Taquile you visit the floating islands of the Uros. The traditional tour of the FD Uros Taquile is presented at times saturated by the constant visits in the morning on the way to the island of Taquile, Amantani and Suasi.
That is why we have created a different visit to which we have called Cultural Taquile, created thanks to the support of the community members of the island who have organized themselves to show us their dances, music and their textile art.
It should be noted that Taquile was declared a masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, thanks to its textile art.
Itinerary
Navigation time: 2 hours one way and 2 return.
Duration of visit in Uros: 1 hour approx.
Duration of the visit to Taquile: 3 hours approx.
06:45 a.m.: Visitors to hotels are collected.
07:00 a.m.: Departure to the Floating Islands.
07:30 a.m.: Visit to the floating islands of Uros.
11:30 a.m.: Arrival at Taquile Island pier.
12:00 p.m.: Visit to the community organized to delight us with their dances, music, and textiles.
12:30 p.m.: Lunch (not included in the price).
Visit to the main square.
14:30 p.m.: Return to Puno from the main dock.
17:00 p.m.: Arrival in Puno.
