Itinerary
First day: Arequipa – Chivay
It leaves from Arequipa at O8:00 a.m. Previous pick up from their respective hotel in a tourist bus, to go to the town of Chivay passing through the foothills of Chachani, Pampa de Arrieros, Pampa Cañahuas, Aguada Blanca National Reserve where the slender Vicuña can be seen, we visit Vizcachani, Tocra, and Pata Pampa 4910 m.s.n.m. (Mirador de los Andes) To observe the volcanoes such as the Hulca-Hualca-Sabancaya and the Ampato, descent to the town of Chivay (3633) Capital of the province of Caylloma
Lunch in Chivay and then accommodation at the hotel.
In the afternoon visit to the thermal baths of La Calera. At night folk show.
Dinner and overnight in Chivay
Second day: Chivay. Condor Cross
5:30 a.m. Early continental breakfast, then departure to the town of Yanque to observe the typical dance of the Colca Valley (Wititti) then we go to the cross of the Cóndor Natural viewpoint where we can observe the flight of the condor and the depth of the Colca canyon, during the tour we will observe the beautiful Canyon platform that mixes with the vegetation and the typical characters of the area. During the return to Chivay we will have some stops at the most outstanding points of the area such as the mysterious lagoons of Altahuilque, Litó Choquetico model, hanging tombs of Choquetico, we will enter the traditional town of Maca where we will get to know its Colonial Church Santa Ana de Maca and then We will arrive at the town of Chivay, lunch and then return to the city of Arequipa
